Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a promising, minimally invasive treatment option with no major complications whereby women have shown improvement in their quality of life and sexual function (Aguilar et al., 2016), as well as clinical improvement of symptoms in lichen sclerosus (Behnia-Willison et al., 2016), vaginal atrophy, recently recognized as genitourinary syndrome of menopause (Hersant et al., 2018; Behnia-Willison et al., 2017) and dyspareunia.

PRP, in addition to its regenerative properties, produces anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects which lead to a resolution of many gynecological symptoms.
