SUMMARY:Platelet Rich Plasma for hair growth: How it works and how I use it
DESCRIPTION:Platelet rich plasma is a treatment for hair loss particularly male and female pattern hair loss or androgenetic alopecia. Growth factors within the platelets and plasma can create a milieu to promote hair growth. VEGF and GDNF as well as others may be important growth factors. Mechanism of action will be discussed.
